Why this role is exciting: 

We are scaling our finance function and looking for a Director, Corporate Accounting, who will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, controls, financial systems, and reporting of the global organization. This person will be based in Cape Town overseeing a team of highly qualified accountants, responsible for the global business and reporting to the Vice President, Global Controller based in New York. Currently the company operates in 15  jurisdictions in the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia.  

This person will work closely with Financial Operations, Tax, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting, Treasury, and FP&A to ensure the accurate reporting of the consolidated results of the Group. She/he will also be responsible for delivering on the financial goals and objectives of the team

What you will be doing: 

  • Overall responsibility for presenting valid, accurate and complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, covering the consolidated group results as well as individual legal entities, product lines, and geographies. 
  • Develop and document accounting policies and processes for a high level of both control and operational efficiency 
  • Work with the Business Applications team to develop and implement IT solutions which enhance the speed and accuracy of our reporting. 
  • Partner with FP&A and operational leaders to provide financial and analytical support to drive our global initiatives
  • Integration of the financial processes of acquired entities into the centralized finance function
  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of all global statutory financial reporting requirements, including Group and local audits
  • Support our tax team in their submission of local statutory tax filings
  • Ownership and maintenance of the financial set up of our ERP system, Netsuite
  • Lead project activities related to system implementation, process improvement and efficiency, streamlining workflow, automation etc.

Lead Marketplace Analysts provides quantitative analysis, market expertise and a strategic perspective to our stakeholders throughout the Marketplace Business Unit.  In this role, you will serve as an analytics expert for marketplace leaders, using data driven insights to help them make better decisions.  You will be responsible for formulating quantitative research based on business needs, performing data analysis, and  translating data into meaningful interpretations and recommendations and implementing process improvements.  The metrics and analysis you develop will serve as a key input in operations decision-making and product development.

As a Big Data Engineer II, your focus will be on delivering stories for the squad, monitoring production environments and managing deployments to production. Your Role at Impact:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Impact, your key responsibilities will carry a dual mandate, deliver the highest quality software on new features while simultaneously ensuring ongoing quality by means of test automation.

This is an meaningful opportunity at Impact, where you will have a direct influence on product features at each phase of the software lifecycle. As a key member of a feature squad, you will partner closely with software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand product requirements. The ideal candidate will be expected to scrutinize new features. Finding illogical flows in UI, building detailed test plans, and architecting the approach to ensure the feature works well into the future.

What You'll Do:

Marketing:

  • Accountable for Automation Testing.
  • Accountable for creating, configuring and maintaining a suite of automated regressions tests & their environment. 
  • Test planning & analysis of requirements.
  • Sign-off on manually scripted test cases.
  • Review and action pull requests.
  • Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verified.
  • Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of the overall system.
  • Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine of the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions. 
  • Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the SDLC.
  • Maintain effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation,
    capability, performance requirement and hardware interface changes.
  • Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
  • Testing will include functional and nonfunctional, integration, regression, system, smoke and sanity
    testing (minimum)
  • Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent re-occurrence of program operating
    problems and ensure efficiency of operation.
  • Conduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.
  • Formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict
    and measure outcome and consequences of design.
  • Create test tools that facilitate data gathering and test method execution.
  • Support manufacturing by verifying fixture software or any software used during production.
  • Participate in risk management meetings.
  • Scripting of test cases against manually scripted test cases / TestRail.
  • Run regression tests against the applications for automated build and testing environments.
  • Implement automated tests using a Selenium framework.
  • Ensure QA automated test framework is documented, with focus on continuity.

What You Have:

  • Tertiary qualification in related field (Bachelors Degree or BTech)
  • At least 3 years experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • At least 2 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs
  • At least 3 years of test automation experience: Selenium, Jasmine, POM, Cucumber
  • Experience working in public cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS)

Your Role at Impact:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Impact, your key responsibilities will carry a dual  mandate, being to deliver the highest quality software to our end users while simultaneously ensuring the persistence of the quality standard by means of automated regression. Your Role at Impact:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Impact, your key responsibilities will carry a dual  mandate, being to deliver the highest quality software to our end users while simultaneously ensuring the persistence of the quality standard by means of automated regression. This is a rare opportunity in QA to have a direct influence on the quality of our software through every phase of the feature delivery workflow. This role will fully encompass all responsibilities associated with the Quality Assurance complement for a designated squad.

The applicant who is ultimately successful will be expected to scrutinize new features with a high attention to detail and document the methodology utilised in the form of a detailed test plan containing the respective test cases specific to the feature.  Upon successful deployment of the feature, the scenarios detailed in the test plan are then to be automated using Java and selenium webdriver.

 

The person filling this role will also be mandated with conducting the regression testing phase of the deployment workflow process and reporting on results timeously. The successful candidate will partner closely with software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand product requirements as well as functionality for developing appropriate build scripts, test plans and test cases.

Why this role is exciting: 

As a leader in impact.com's Customer Engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of customer-focused and technically proficient implementation engineers. You will have the excellent opportunity to manage and grow the team, while ensuring all round development and well- being of individual team members. As an experienced technical professional, you will also be able to assist and guide the team in developing best-in-class client solutions on impact.com's award winning Partnership Cloud SaaS platform.

Responsibilities: 

  • Keep up-to-date with Impact’s technology and industry updates
  • Lead and grow a team of technical engineers by recruiting, mentoring and coaching
  • Retain and develop talent through goal setting, career planning and development
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and CFRs to ensure team high satisfaction and well-being
  • Participate in tracking team KPIs and ACRs
  • Quickly become proficient on impact.com's partnership automation platform and related technologies
  • Assist the team in developing custom client solutions, including review and approval of technical plans
  • Build, review, improve and be responsible for the roll out of departmental tools and processes
  • Act as an escalation point for internal and external requests
  • Participate and lead departmental and cross functional projects and initiatives

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science or Commerce discipline
  • 7-10 years of relevant industry/domain experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading the design and development of client solutions on SaaS platforms
  • 3+ years of team lead and/or team management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including client-facing skills

At Trackonomics by Impact.com you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with an international, enthusiastic and passionate team. You’ll be working with and gaining knowledge of the latest technologies, as well as other useful tools in the field. This position offers you flexibility with your work hours and location. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Support in the onboarding process of new clients including task/ticket management and collaborating with the development team 
  • Assist Partner Success team with providing technical support to clients including troubleshooting technical issues raised by customers and QAing
  • Management and follow up of client’s open tasks/tickets ensuring they have the relevant detail for the development and are complete in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the development team on client requests, issues and set up
  • Participating in regular client meetings, collating client feedback, and ensuring requests are noted and actioned 
  • Supporting client health checks and implementing actions where required 
  • Owning general account management administration including maintenance of internal and client-facing documentation.
