Why this role is exciting!

Partnerships are at the heart of impact.com - not just enabling thousands of brands to develop their own partnerships, but making sure we are a leading partner in our own right. The impact.com Agency Partnerships team works with hundreds of agencies to source new business and to ensure impact.com clients are supported by a full ecosystem. The team is cross-organizational in nature, working closely with sales, product, success, marketing, legal, and more.

Channel Partner Managers (CPMs) are responsible for building long-term, mutually beneficial, business relationships with marketing agency partners. Agency partners are responsible for a tremendous portion of impact.com’s growth and success, and this vital role is the driver of those partnerships.

As a CPM on our “Growth” team, you will work with established partner agencies, with the goal of expanding their business in our ecosystem. This challenging role requires you to seamlessly mix relationship management, sales, product expertise, and business development. You will build deep relationships inside key agency partners, expanding your network of contacts and influence within those organizations. You will work to ensure partners are highly enabled to sell impact.com products, prospect proactively into their book of business, and work with them to surface new opportunities. You will generate opportunities for creative strategic deals, work on co-marketing materials, and much more. When opportunities come through, you will help our sales team ensure those deals close. When you are successful, your partners win and impact.com wins.

Successful CPMs are energetic, curious, highly motivated and tenacious, natural networkers, and excellent consultative sellers. • Close new business at or above quota level by prospecting actively into partners’ books of business, working on strategic initiatives with agencies, and ensuring agencies are enabled and educated on impact.com at the highest levels
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future. You will need to be both creative and resourceful as you guide new agency partners down the path to success with impact.com.
  • Collaborating with partners to identify new business opportunities.
  • Working with our sales organizations to close opportunities sourced from your agency partners.
  • Proactively assessing, validating, and refining approaches to partnerships.

  • Detail-oriented and organized; you’re capable of managing a large number of concurrent tasks without dropping balls.
  • A technology enthusiast, naturally at home in SaaS and business
  • Experience in the partnership / affiliate / influencer marketing industry, or in digital marketing.

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, plus 30% variable commission plan (potential additional $30-$36K) for an Annual OTE of $130,000-$156,000, plus eligible to receive generous Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.
