Your Role at impact.com:

As an AI Engineer,  you will work on our core and business products to help shape the future of what we build at impact.com.  You will enjoy working with our rich data set, cutting edge technology, and the ability to see your insights turned into real products on a regular basis.  Partnering with internal and external stakeholders, you will develop new products/features and solve business problems by preparing, analyzing, and understanding data to prototype products/features, deliver insight, predict emerging trends, and provide recommendations to optimize results. 

You should have a background in a quantitative or technical field, experience working with large data sets, experience in data-driven decision making, and data storytelling through visualization.  You are proficient in big data technologies, Cloud environment, statistical modelling, and machine learning algorithms. What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance data science solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver on the product roadmap.
  • Optimize and refactor existing models and algorithms to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.

What You Have:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Statistics, or other quantitative Social Science fields. PhD preferred, or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of tech industry work experience as a data analyst, statistician, or data scientist.
  • Expert knowledge of statistical data analysis, including linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, sampling methods, and experimental design.
  • Well-versed in R, Python, SQL, and big data query languages.
  • Proficient with machine learning, AI, data mining, and advanced statistical modelling.

As a JavaScript Engineer, you will be responsible for delivery and supporting features for various widgets and functionality running on customers’ web pages supporting various browsers and versions. We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Engineering Enablement Team, responsible for empowering our engineering organization with robust tools, frameworks, and practices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance developer productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure the scalability and performance of our frontend infrastructure.

  • Completed B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience: Java 8+, SQL, Unix shell commands, version control, JDBC, OR Tools (Hibernate, JPA), Spring MVC, HTTP/Rest protocols, build tools (Gradle/Maven), CI (Jenkins/Bamboo/etc), JVM & Garbage collection, Data lakes, Cloud Computing.
  • 6+ years of Software Development.
  • Experience working with Java, Spring or related technologies.
  • Agile/Iterative processes. Kanban/Scrum.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, table design, SQL.
  • Continuous Integration/Delivery methods, tooling, integrations.
  • Experience working with large-scale processing.
  • Exposure and experience in any Google Cloud technology is highly desired.
  • Experience in monitoring, alerting, and production support.
  • Exposure to front-end technologies.
  • Experience in taking ownership of larger pieces of work.
  • Proven track record of influencing architecture and inter-disciplinary dependencies.
