We are clearly facing an unprecedented situation. The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is affecting all our families, businesses, and communities. At this time, I wanted to update you on some of the measures we’re taking to promote the well-being of our employees while maintaining business continuity for our customers.
First and foremost, we send our best wishes to anyone directly or indirectly affected by the virus. Especially to anyone ill, we hope for your full and speedy recovery. And we give thanks to all the healthcare workers, first responders, military, and officials on the front lines working for the safety and care of everyone worldwide.
1. Employee, community, and worldwide health: The health and safety of our employees, families, and communities have to come first. To that end, we have asked all our employees worldwide to work from home. We have suspended all non-essential company travel, canceled, postponed, or are converting in-person corporate events to online pre-recorded or live sessions. We continue to monitor and follow the guidance from our local, state, national, and global authorities to ensure we’re following best practices.
2. Business continuity: As a cloud-based SaaS company with redundant, scalable, and secure infrastructure, and a globally distributed team, we continue to deliver our online services and direct customer support with the highest levels of performance, availability, and security. In addition to the services we already provide, we are continuing to develop new features and capabilities as planned. Our global team is outfitted with the latest software and hardware resources enabling the same high level of access, productivity, collaboration, and security from within our offices or remote.
As a gesture of partnership to the community of Impact employees, customers, partners, and their friends and families, some Impact partners are providing free or discounted services and offerings aimed at helping customers who are now confined to “stay at home.”
As we all progress through these challenging times together, we’ll keep you updated. We look forward to continuing to provide the highest service and support for your growth through partnerships.
Stay safe and healthy,
David A. Yovanno
