Now it’s easier than ever for Segment customers to connect their partnership programs to their overall web and app marketing efforts, thanks to our newly expanded integration between the Segment and Impact platforms. We welcome Segment to our rapidly expanding roster of partners who have joined Impact’s Partner Ecosystem.

Segment is used to track user behavior across app and web environments and route that data relatively seamlessly to other tools and systems.

Now, we’ve made things even easier for brands who want to use Impact and Segment together.

Less work, more visibility

Joint Segment and Impact users can now:

  • Set up faster: Segment users no longer need to manually integrate Impact tracking, so everything moves faster and there’s less troubleshooting required. No engineer means no development hours, either. Simply set Impact as a destination function within Segment, we’ll perform a few setup steps for you, and you’ll be up and running in no time.
  • Capture more data: Segment users can now seamlessly pass click and conversion events and event parameters (such as shopping cart data) to Impact, expanding your Impact report insights.
  • Accurately track the buyer journey: Segment can now pass anonymized identity data to Impact, allowing you to understand the full buyer journey and measure the incremental value of each of your partners.

Want to get started?

If you’re already working with Segment, simply set up Impact as a destination function. You can learn more about destination functions in Segment here. Impact users can take a look at our help documentation for specific details. Or log into your Impact account and click “Need Help” in the bottom-right corner of your screen, and we’ll help you get started.
