impact.com brings the power of partnerships to Indonesia with the hire of industry veteran Myre Gustam as Account Director

August 1st, 2022 — impact.com, the world’s leading partnership management platform driving partnerships for almost 300 brands across APAC, today announced its personnel expansion into the Indonesia market with the hire of Myre Gustam as Account Director, bringing with her a raft of experience in affiliate marketing and influencer strategy.

Previously Director of Business Development and most recently Indonesia Country Manager at Involve Asia, Myre brings over 12 years of industry experience to impact.com. As part of this newly created role, Myre will spearhead the growth and expansion of impact.com in Indonesia, while working hand in hand with the company’s biggest in-market clients such as UniPin and AYANA Hotels, as well as established clients situated across Southeast Asia including Coda Payments, Ox Street, ZALORA and Sephora.

Over the past three years, impact.com has successfully expanded into Singapore and Malaysia and led by Southeast Asia General Manager Antoine Gross, the SEA team has doubled in the past 12 months. Myre joining impact.com comes at a time when the eCommerce market in Indonesia creates annual revenues of over $43 billion, positioning the nation as one of the world’s largest markets for online shopping. That’s little surprise when on average, Indonesians* spend over 8 hours per day online, beating out the global average.

“There’s been a big transformation over the past few years with many Indonesian businesses increasing their marketing spend to drive eCommerce growth, and the fast-growing ones going beyond traditional online advertising to invest in affiliate – like cashback and coupon sites – and influencer partnerships,” said Myre Gustam, Country Manager for impact.com in Indonesia. “Brands invest in these partnerships because they can control cost per acquisition and thus gain higher return on investment as it works on a pay upon conversion or sale model. Today, brands have the opportunity to diversify their partnership ecosystem by also working with key opinion leaders, mobile apps and media publishers who have the same aligned and trusted audiences. It’s been a pleasure to partner with some of Indonesia’s sharpest marketers over the years and with the partnership automation tech at impact.com, we’ve got all the tools and expertise to support their innovative partnership marketing campaigns, continue expanding their businesses and reach new customers across the nation.”

The role of impact.com is to provide the technology and expert team to support brands growing and scaling their influencer and affiliate partnership programs, giving full transparency and direct control with each partner – whether influencers and content creators, mobile apps, or cashback and coupon sites – to deliver on the brand’s agreed outcome and generate greater return on investment.

“The Southeast Asian advertising landscape continues to rapidly evolve and brands need trusted channels and expert counsel to navigate the changes on the horizon,“ said Antoine Gross, General Manager of impact.com Southeast Asia. “Myre has been at the forefront of change when it comes to the growth of affiliate and influencer marketing in Indonesia. This knowledge will offer brands an invaluable sense of perspective and future insight not only in Indonesia, but across the entire Southeast Asia region. We’re delighted to have her on board at impact.com.”
