First Pier

First Pier is an ecommerce agency in Portland, Maine, and we have been solving complex ecommerce problems since 2009. We manage affiliate and ambassador programs on impact.com for direct-to-consumer brands, boutiques, and purpose-driven businesses, and we build the Shopify storefronts, paid media, and measurement those programs run on.

Affiliate and ambassador programs
Our work on impact.com starts with program design: commission structure, attribution window, payout terms, and the tier logic that separates an affiliate from an ambassador. From there we handle partner and creator recruiting, vetting, and onboarding, and we write the collateral a roster runs on, including terms and conditions, FTC disclosure guidance, UGC usage rights, and commission exclusion rules that tell every partner exactly what earns.

Programs perform best when the numbers behind them are trustworthy and the pages behind them convert. We build the tracking and attribution that let partner revenue be read cleanly alongside paid search, email, and organic, so a program gets credit for the customers it actually brought in. We also build the landing pages, product pages, and offers that turn partner traffic into orders. One team does all of it, which means the program and the site it points to move together.

The rest of the work
Everything else we do supports the same outcome. We handle Shopify and Shopify Plus development, ecommerce audits and strategy, paid search, paid social, SEO, and content strategy, along with newer discovery surfaces like Answer Engine Optimization and agentic commerce. We also cover branding and identity, UX, Klaviyo template design, and the operational layer of Shopify POS, ERP, automation, shipping, and feed management.
