Messaging, a new in-app chat feature on the impact.com platform, connects brands and publishers, making it effortless for them to start conversations and form more productive partnerships.
How Messaging works on impact.com
You can access Messaging from the pop-up chat window, located in the bottom right corner of most screens within the platform. Seamlessly start conversations and respond to existing threads by opening the conversation window. Securely share files, such as report CSVs, to keep partners in the loop.
In addition to the pop-up window, a new dedicated inbox screen gives you easy access to your entire message history, allowing you to efficiently keep track of your past conversations. Available filters help sort and prioritize message threads based on relationship status and partner size.
When to use Messaging
You’ll need to decide when to use messaging or stick to your current processes. Here are some quick suggestions to help you find success.
Use Messaging for:
- Partner inquiries. Messaging facilitates efficient communication, allowing you to resolve obstacles to productivity more effectively. Quickly answer common questions about payment, tracking, content, and get back to focusing on strategic growth.
- Contract and placement discussions. Take dialogues out of email, where it’s hard to find past discussions, and bring them into the impact.com platform. A unified platform for conversations and program management streamlines your workflows and saves you time.
- Strategic growth conversations. Messaging is a great way to explore growth opportunities. Start conversations with partners showing a lot of potential or those that may have fallen off and need some encouragement to get back on track.
- Prospecting and recruitment (coming soon). Messaging for prospecting and recruitment isn’t available yet, but will be in the near future. Make it easier to get new partnership conversations started. Reduce the amount of time spent searching for contact information and ensure your messages are going to the correct contact for new partnership opportunities. When you have questions for prospective partners, you can quickly send in-platform messages to get more information.
