As the youngest of five in a close-knit family, I grew up with an innate interest in food’s ability to unite and reminisce, yet excite and explore. After formal education, both earning a culinary degree and an undergrad in journalism, I set out to work under some of the country's leading chefs, such as Chef Thomas Keller. After incredible professional training, I went on international expeditions to Thailand, Sweden and Italy, where I further developed a love for different cuisines and cultures. From there, I have set out to teach others the foundations of cooking and how to apply those to delicious recipes all from the comfort of their own kitchen. I take my expertise and focus on composed, but not complicated cooking, restaurant-inspired recipes and chef techniques to try at home.
