The JavaScript Publisher Tag is not strictly necessary — you will still be able to see cross-network reporting and create links for all your connected networks even if you do not install the tag. However, the tag is required if you want to see page-level reporting and it may increase your attribution rate. Additionally, many of the features we have planned — such as dynamic link transformation — will require the tag as well. Install the tag here.
